Compared with rock music, reggae music basically inverted the role of bass and guitar.Reggae is a music genre first developed in Jamaica in the late 1960s.
While sometimes used in a broader sense to refer to most types of
Jamaican music, the term reggae more properly denotes a particular music
style that originated following on the development of ska and
rocksteady. If you compare reggae music to most music genres now a days, for
example: Rap. Rap can be about anything, from heartbreaks to guns and
fighting in the war....Reggae is the same, but its more heartfelt
because there is always a war going on in Jamaica and other countries
overseas. The beat is what makes it so special and unique because there is
no any other beat like it around the globe.
